Start a private conversation and use the message tools available in one-to-one chats.
Start a conversation
Open Messages from your dashboard to view your conversations. You can also use the Message action on an eligible member’s profile to begin or return to a direct conversation with that member.
Work with a message
Direct messages support more than plain replies. Depending on the message and your relationship to it, you can reply, add or remove a reaction, edit your own message, delete your own message, pin a message, forward it, and inspect read information.
Deleted and edited messages
Edited messages are identified as edited. Deleting your message removes its original content from the conversation and displays a deleted-message marker instead.
