Create and manage an event

Create an event

1. Open Events from your dashboard and choose Create event.
2. Add the event title, description, and an optional poster or event image.
3. Choose whether the host is your own profile or a band you manage.
4. Enter the start time, optional end time, venue, public location, city, region, and country. SonicCircle uses the event location for discovery and stores the event with the appropriate time-zone information.
5. Add an optional ticket URL when attendees should be able to purchase tickets or visit an external event page.
6. Create the event to publish its public event page.

Edit an event

Events you manage appear in your dashboard. You can update the event details from there or use Edit event on the public event page. When important scheduling or venue information changes, members who RSVP’d can be notified according to their notification preferences.

Cancel an event

Cancel an event instead of silently removing it when a show will no longer happen. Canceled events are removed from active discovery, RSVP attendees are notified, and the canceled event remains available for reference with its RSVP history and discussion.
