Understand personalized discovery
Learn how your profile and community activity can make Discover more relevant to you.
When Discover becomes personalized
When you are signed in and SonicCircle has useful profile or community signals for you, Discover can replace the general browsing sections with recommendations tailored to your account.
What helps shape recommendations
Your genres, instruments, location, and people you follow can help SonicCircle identify more relevant musicians and community content. Your activity with releases, playlists, events, and bands can also help make related discovery sections more useful.
People you should not see
Discover respects your relationship controls. Members you have blocked or muted, and members who have blocked you, are excluded where applicable. Musician recommendations also avoid simply recommending people you already follow.
Improve your discovery experience
Keeping your musical identity and location current gives SonicCircle better information to work with when personalizing discovery.
